    Key Responsibilities:
    • Equipment Operation: Safely operate vacuum trucks and tankers to collect, transport, and dispose of impacted water, sludge, and other materials.
    • Specialized Services: Conduct gasoline/fuel phase separation (water removal from fuel), high vacuum extraction from monitoring wells, and oil-water separator servicing.
    • Tank Maintenance: Perform cleaning and decommissioning for both Underground Storage Tanks (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST).
    • Emergency Response: Participate in 24/7 on-call emergency spill response activities as needed, including product collection and site cleanup.
    • Field Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including confined space entry procedures and HAZWOPER standards.
    • Compliance: Accurately complete waste manifests and documentation for the transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Requirements


  • Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Tanker endorsement (Hazmat endorsement preferred).

  • Experience: Prior experience operating vacuum trucks, air movers, or similar industrial equipment is a plus.

  • Certifications: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is highly desirable (training may be provided for the right candidate).

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy hoses, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks in confined spaces.

  • Availability: Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency responses.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
